Don was born into a world of hell and misery. He was born to a heroin addicted, prostituting mother. Her biggest pleasure in the world besides shooting dope into her veins was making her only son's life as miserable as she possibly could. She beat on Don daily and sat and watched as her tricks and pimp beat on him too. By the time he was 10 years old he had no love for anyone or anything. After being removed from his mother's custody by the state, Don was placed in a group home. The experience of the home made Don's already cold heart even colder. While at the group home Don made 1 friend. A small kitten that he found abandoned in the street that he named Blackie. He loved Blackie right away because they had a connection. Blackie was left alone to fend for himself in this world just as he had been. Blackie was the only thing Don ever loved in this cruel world and spending time with Blackie everyday helped Don forget about his miserable reality. Blackie understood him like no one else ever would. After a while the older boys at the home began to take notice of Don's relationship with the kitten. They immediately put a plan in motion to take away Don's happiness. The older boys believed that it was their job to make sure that everyone's stay at the home was filled with misery and despair. It was what made them happy and able to forget about their own miserable realities. The older boys found Blackie outside and beat the kitten to within inches of his life. They sat around and waited so they could see the pain on Don's face when he found Blackie in this condition. Don cried when he found Blackie barely hanging on to life, but then a strong urge over came him and he decided to show the older boys what someone who had no love was capable of. He bashed Blackie's skull in with a 2x4 as the older boys watched in horror. Don loved Blackie, but he enjoyed the feeling that he got when he killed him. Don loved the rush that he got from killing the kitten and he was sure that he would one day kill again. Don grew to hate anyone who seemed happy. From his experiences with life he found it hard to believe that anyone could be genuinely happy without faking it. When he discovered Twitter he found himself crossing paths with the kind of people he despised most in the world. Those fake happy women who always thought that they were too good for someone like him. Don nicknamed women like this 'Twitter Honeys.' Don had a new mission in life. To make life miserable for the 'Twitter Honeys just as his whole life had been. What seems like random killings of young women has the city of Philadelphia in a total panic.
